great work kal! looks like I owe ya one, here goes, as hard as I could nitpick:
Many BM album kick in with some lousy "epic" theme song, which in turn blasts in to the very riffs of your first single
i think you might want to say "albums" and "into," also it could be just me but i think "BM" sounds a little too forum-y
Although most bands incorporate some atmospheric touches, Bathory music is destitute of such instances
"Bathory's music" perhaps?
topped off with a sweep pick
as a guitar player this sounds really odd, i think using the phrase sweep picking sounds more fitting

Love the cover for this album. As for the album, I don't have it, but what I've heard from it I can actually listen to. Which is a rarity for black metal and me.

fuck no, SOTLB is my favorite black metal album of all time, its even better than this imo.
That Empror album on the other hand bores me, but like Enslaved's "Isa" im sure it will eventually grow on me.
