This is one of the greatest hip hop albums ever made...as far as I'm concerned, Raekwon invented the entire coke rap genre with this. Incredibly grimy, even with the soul instrumentation that RZA started using. This also (in my opinion) jumpstarted Ghost's career - as I recall, he's on like 15 of the tracks here.



Also notable for the first appearance of a non-Wu member on a Wu-Tang album.

Well the so called mafioso themes were already used by Kool G Rap before but Rae certainly made it popular since It Was Written by Nas also followed similar themes.

4.5! Holds my attention more than liquid swords! But u cant faulter Rae and Ghost on this!

But its not a Rae solo to me, nor is Ironman a Ghost solo. Its RAGU! (rae and ghost united)
