Also, not a fan of Fireproof, Slipped, Humiliation, or Pink Rabbits. Though I think Demons, Don't Swallow the Cap, Graceless, and Hard To Find are top tier National tracks for sure, so it evens out to an excellent 4.

It's effective in the same way 'Gospel' is effective as a closer...is the strongest praise I can muster. It's purely an album cut through and through, can't imagine listening to it in isolation.

this album lives ina swampy haze where it belongs and it drags you into it. I like that. It has that over the others and imo the songs still compare quality wise on anythign on the other 3
