Anyway, whoever the bassist is if he is the creative and involved in the bass production both of these EPs make him one of the best bassists active right now

Was thinking of reviewing the 2nd one but idk
These EPs have legit been the only thing keeping me going for weeks now tho lol

I think I read that Colin asked to play bass on some of the tracks because he likes grooves lately.

Both of these EP's are so damn good. Still in weekly rotation for me, sometimes daily.

just now getting around to this & death, and it's wayy better than i thought it would be
at times the amulet felt like them just coasting on auto-pilot (which was still really good) really enjoying them actually pushing a bit of a different sound here

death is still one of my fav releases of the year. buzzhenge and discount on psychic readings are all time top circa tracks for me. agreed about the amulet feeling autopiloty too

yes! buzzhenge is absolute top tier circa. honestly kinda surprised death seemed to be less hyped up than this was. I feel like they about the same quality wise, and as a complete album they come together perfectly.
the amulet has it's highlights but felt like them playing it a bit safe sound wise. I'd love to see them try to combine some of the more electronic elements from this with the more energetic sweet lead guitar driven style of the past.
