Does anyone know what's up with Damian's live vocals, did he fuck up his throat?

Feels like a ton of times recently (past year or so) that he has problems with his vocals and has to resort to a lower pitched bark rather than his normal high howls.

There's quite clearly some serious strain on his vocals, and they are much lower than normal, and not at all the same Chuck-like raspy howls like he usually does.



Damian always does the higher howls, the lower vocals are always Matt, but it seems Damian is now doing painful sounding mid range barks, seemingly out of necessity.



Compare to 2:28 here from 2 years ago where his vocals sound like his normal self.

There was also an older video where his voice seemed like he had damaged it, might be strain from touring.
