Well Godspeed does utilize that rapid fire tremolo picking more than others on their earlier albums so I understand many comparisons. This is definitely different from them though.

Granted I don't know shit about post-rock but this is probably the only alblum in the genre that I can sit through and enjoy from start to finish.
