@ballsdeep, the LTD edition of Ashes ends with Scars Of The Shattered Sky. Check that track out. There's your epic song!

Ive heard it man (Im an outcast with some detachment from the social dogma according to this scale http://imgur.com/gallery/oxeVBPU/new) and while i really enjoy it separately, I don't feel it fits cohesively with the rest of the album. Its too long winded, Especially after the grain.

This doesn't seem to be hitting all the emotional buttons I'd hoped it would. Still a wonderful work of art.

The last was one of my favorites. The second to last was pretty sweet, though in the grand scheme of the album I wouldn't say it stood out. Only heard this twice though so it difficult to comment particularly intelligently about something as massive as this

Cool, cool.

What brings this down to a 4 is the last few tracks. I just get so bored.

Huh really? Idk man, the acoustic on the last is wonderful (and it's pretty wonderful on the second to last now I've relistened to it). I get you though, the second to last is pretty subtle.

If I had one big criticism of the whole record it'd be that its a little too lengthy, some of the tracks don't quite justify their length

I don't think a track should be cut, but some tracks could be shortened slightly
