thanks guys. its coming along very slowly. took me a long time to even start it cause i had to do a bit of world building, figuring out the characters, the plot, etc. then when i did start it i ended up scrapping everything i had and started over cause i wasnt satisfied with how it was going. so right now i have an introduction and four chapters done. so i still have a long ways to go.

yeah i was kind of intimidated by the idea, its a pretty ambitious concept for a first novel. i thought of starting with something a little more simple, but i just kept coming back to this one and the ideas kept flowing, so im doing it. im just hoping its not too much story for me to handle, this being my first real attempt at writing a full length novel.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea trying to write a shorter story (I'm thinking like 50 pages) to try nail plot, character design, pacing etc and then translate some of what you learn into the story you're currently crafting. Not that I know anything about writing, if what you're currently doing is working then go for it man, hope it goes well
