Upcoming album still excites me. the last two albums both had one or two great melodic songs like "September 14th" and "Aquamarine", which weren't singles. I expect some will make the new album. I will remain optimistic.

The fifth song was released yesterday, not any big surprise. so I have six more songs to go.

new song is vaguely okay, i like how it tries to deviate from the silverstein formula (even tho it doesn't fully succeed)

I really think the concept of the new album is like those supernatural sci-fi horror movies like A Quiet Place, Stranger Things or something like that. Basically every song gives me that hint.

Probably written by the band after watching Netflix at home.

New single is better than the first 3. Standard fare radio rock sound, but unlike the first 3 singles, I feel like it was done pretty well on this 5th one.

Wait they've released 5 songs already? Isn't the album like 11 tracks lmao

Its a Brave New World steaky. Still waiting for someone to top AFI's last album release (dropping 7 singles over the course of 5+ months leading up to an 11 track album release). Gross stuff.

the latest one is audio, not strictly a single. I really hate this squeeze mode. Especially when the singles aren't good, It's like being slowly killed.

I really don't understand why there's so much fuss around the aggressive marketing tactics

You can just do what I do and not listen to the singles, (or listen to one or two max) and then just check out the full release whenever it's out

I don't really jam singles much anymore either but it's still silly imo lol

But silverstein's spotify homepage is really amazingly annoying. must complain. Those singles, "EP"s (overlapped contents), re-recordings, alternative version, re-recoding acoustic. kill me!

Yes, I'm complaining only about the fragmented form of the releases. the LIVE of WHEN BROKEN IS EASILY FIXED is also amazing.

Never mind, enough about the new album, I'm going out for some air.

I care a lot, actually. That applies to this band as well. Grew up listening to DtW.
