The dueling riffs on "And Yet It Moves" have to be some of my favourites from Jim. So tasteful

Dropping my rating to 3.5, no way this is on par with Theories and Disconnected, as the overalls suggest.
I don't reach for this one very often despite it having some great songs.

Yeah its weaker than those two, closer to a 3.8 for me I'd say
I like all of the songs, but the album is a tiring listen in a single stretch, which is oddly how I've been enjoying my music nowadays. Like the good old days

Yeah this album is great but the next two are definitely better. This can feel as long or longer than LDGN even somehow

I think LDGN has great flow....time isn't a factor for me and before ya know it, you're on Longest Shadow
This is definitely their 'longest' album for me. Don't get me wrong, I love it, and it's better than most bands' best effort.

This feels a bit safe and samey compared to Theories of Flight and Long Day Good Night tbh
