Soooo, I just saw BvS and it was so 6.0/10 to be honest.
This album continues to grow on me as the year go by. And yeah, the riff on You Stole fucking rules.

I have listened to this album no less than 3 times today and it's slowly but surely growing on me. Title track is sliding and the first three songs still haven't really clicked with me, but everything else is enjoyable at worst ("Gasoline," "You Stole") and fantastic at best ("In a Jar," "Noro")

I love this album, but imo it doesn't have too many layers to explore with repeated listens. It just is what it is, both lyrics and instrumentation. Thats a good and bad thing.

What makes TDAG so great for me is all the musical layers. each weird effect compells me even mroe each listen, from the guitars on Archers to all of You Wont Know, to the first half of Luca (though the second half is even better). The album clicked with me very well, but i can understand how it wouldn't for others.
This record is barely below it though. God, do i love this album so much.
