spot on lol
I'd watch literally anything that made Rob Pats face down Willem Dafoe for nearly two hours, the fact that Eggers directed it is a bonus really

The fuck does Eggers directing a viking movie with bjork have to do with lars von trier? Just because he had a movie with bjork in it 20 years ago?

Not sure, but there's a debate that she was harassed by him. Also there are four total actors in The Northman who played a significant role in a Lars Von Trier film at one point, the other three being: Nicole Kidman the star of Dogville, Willem Dafoe in Antichrist, and Alexander Skarsgard in Melancholia.

Eggers is one of the most promising new horror directors imo. I thought the same of Ari Aster but then he made Midsommar..
I think The viking movie is a change of pace and his first non-horror but regardless he has hella potential, as The LightHouse pulled off much more than the horror aspects well

lol thats actually such a dope cast jfc
"Not sure, but there's a debate that she was harassed by him"
yeah i think it's fairly well documented that trier is a bit of a POS and even though i love his movies, its not as if his apparent misogyny doesn't ooze through in virtually every single one of them lol

I'll watch anything by Ari and Eggers. Really liked a few of the Lars films that I've seen. Hereditary is great but I loved Midsommar even more. I got the director's cut blu-ray with illustrations from the movie in the packaging for Christmas.
