Is it just me or does Philistine Philosphies' and Sanguine Seas of Bigotry's first 22 seconds sound a bit similar? Maybe it's the drums. And I don't mean this in a negative way, Opacities and DoaDD are my favourite releases from these guys, I'm just curious.

Thanks for affirming that. I listen to a lot of stuff so hearing similarities are unavoidable. There are some seriously hilarious ones too...
And yeah, this EP riffs hard. I've been listening to this more and more lately. I especially love the small details on this release and I miss them from the new LP, even though I really wanted to like it.
