tbh no future 3 and richard were among the most accessible tracks for me. no future 3 esp. cuz like the last half of the song is all chorus baby. its also not fuckin 7 minutes long

I didn't join until 2012 so that's prolly part of it, haha.

on my 3rd listen of the album now, already can't get enough of it. the vocals are 100 % my kind of thing and remind me of several bands I love: Against Me!, The Menzingers, Hot Water Music, Captain We're Sinking, The Smith Street Band

hmmm.. Bright Eyes too!

I'm so proud of you Atari ;-)

If there was ever an album that encompassed everything that I know and understand about your musical preferences, it's this. I'm just sad I didn't realize sooner that it escaped your radar.

And yeah, just 5 it. I did in 2010 and love it more now.

Can already tell it’s gonna make my decade list! I’m just worried their other albums will feel like a massive disappointment after hearing this one first lol

This was their pinnacle by a long shot

TMLT was my second favorite but it received mixed reviews in general so I wouldn't categorize it as nearly on the same level as this, which nearly everyone fell in love with immediately

tmlt is even more ambitious. not quite as consistent but there's a great chance you'll love it too. airing is more of a monitor-lite. local business is solid too, the new one is garbage though

Jesus how have I never heard of this band till today? This is so damn good. It’s like a Bright Eyes album, but with more of a Menzingers/Rosenstock sound.

butt.

I’m glad I didn’t look at the length before I started this thing. Would have scared me away.
