I don't love Pop-Punk as much as I used to, but I still think TWY is streets ahead of TSSF or even NFG.

You know I can type with perfect grammar (for the most part, of course; mistakes happen to everyone) if I really want to, it's just like I said I'm not an uptight asshole and I realize that considering the general laid back, almost chatroom like atmosphere of this place it's really unnecessary.

they all play very cleanly produced, power chord heavy pop punk that generally utilizes d-beats and takes heavy influence from hardcore. the voices of each band is different of course but there is definitely a base vocal style for this type of pop punk that i generally just don't like (idk how to explain it, higher pitched clean vocals that verge on shouting a lot of the time). just a lot of the ideas utilized/song structures between each band sound too similar for my taste

Those posts could've been easily summed up with "I don't like it" or "It's not for me." Gotta make a nigga go out of his way to get any credibility here.

good review, it's weird you'd mention ocean avenue and still mention that pop punk is dead or something (last two years YC has put up solid pop punk stuff) but aside from that it was a very entertaining/enlightening read.

will check out this album when i have time

Doesn't hit as hard as Suburbia but still excellent. Probably my only issue is some of the connecting lyrics and imagery is kinda shitty. The whole ghost thing goes on a bit much
