There's a lot of excellent music here, but as a whole this thing is stupidly overhyped. Every now and then the mainstream grabs onto an album from jazz or some other similarly oft-ignored genre and heralds it as a classic without the necessary context.

marathon, not race

already on song 5 and totally exhausted. it's hard to stay focused. prob going to take a break and resume on track 6 and see how far i get. this is really enjoyable stuff though to be sure

i kept listening. totally into this guy's sound right now. every song i've heard has been fucking awesome. i just can't sit down for too long listening to music or i get bored so i've got this playing while i clean lol

No one said you have to sit still and listen anyway. I very rarely just sit and do nothing while listening to an album

i mean i browse the net and stuff, it's not like i just sit there staring at the ceiling (i have done this while high though with certain concept albums like tomorrow, in a year). but for an album almost 3 hours long i get too restless and have to go for a walk or something.
