I stumbled on Caladan before I was really into Black metal at all, and noticed the name because I was reading the malazan book of the fallen series this is based on. After I sank into this I started checking out more black metal. Just haven't gotten to Moonsorrow i guess.

Nope. Caladan Brood is a character from The Malazan Book of The Fallen series. Hence the song title Book of the Fallen. Great books btw.

It's honestly extremely complex, a bit too complex for me. It's great but there are a lot of times with too many plots intertwining. It makes Game of Thrones look simple and that's pretty complex stuff. Def more of a GoT guy but Malazan is good.

Well I think I did mentioned them at some point but Moonsorrow is really different from this. But since
you put it out there, no way man. It's amazing but V is their crowning achievement. Most epic thing
I've ever heard.
