yeah, hope we get news of the new album. I'm guessing they're waiting till after the tours to call it quits and release one final album (at least with Fripp).
Yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing Epitaph twice ;)

"call it quits and release one final album"
don't joke about that they haven't come to Ohio yet

Fripp is so arrogant that instead of bringing back the brilliant line-up with Belew he decided to make an orchestral interpretation of the band...not bad but it's not the same.

him deciding to start the band over from scratch isn't anything new
don't know how it's arrogant (nor is it the right word) but he's not obligated to include former members if it doesn't fit his vision of the band as it is now OR if said member is currently occupied by higher priorities. Besides, Belew had been in the band for over twenty years, it was time for a change, especially if they weren't going even write new music.

"he decided to make an orchestral interpretation of the band"
what does this even mean?

seriously, listen to the 2008 shows and tell me that lineup was brilliant. Probably the weakest King Crimson's ever been.
A band playing songs from twenty years ago and whatever token song from the two then-recent albums made it into the setlist.

I meant that he took as many musicians as he could and put it as a whole orchestra thing. seriously 3 DRUMMERS? give me a break...

King Crimson's had several drummers in a single lineup before.
Again, just how is it "orchestral", and why is he obligated to include past members who have either expressed no interest or have other obligations? Belew did have interest but had other priorities plus how would he even fit into the band as it is now? It's not even surprising Jakko became the new vocalist/guitarist because he'd been involved in Crimson and other related projects over the past decade.
Should note the new band doesn't fit into the Belew-era stuff (mainly the 80s stuff, the 90s/00s stuff works because it fits into the current band's edgier sound better).

The Belew thing is just because it's the line-up that I always felt most comfortable with and it lasted for over 2 decades and that says a lot. And the orchestral thing is a personal belief that I have that when a band exceeds a number of members it becomes like an orchestra because of the quantity of instruments and how the sound becames more detailed than playing as a trio for example

Understandable.
Personally, considering how short each lineup usually lasted (should add in that even the Belew lineups usually lasted five/six years at the most), it didn't bother me that much they got someone else in his spot considering the vocalist spot is probably the most consistently changing spot in King Crimson.
