These 3 just seem to blend into one another to me and not leave any distinct impact. All good songs, but just have never left much of an impression on me

7. Shine

8. 25

9. It Kills Me To Have To Be Alive

It Kills Me to Have to be Alive is one of my favourite songs on here (and I love all three), but I have to agree. It doesn't help that It Kills Me sounds a bit too much like Passiona.

Nice dig blush. That EP has some great tracks. Also new track is fantastic. Saw them at Workers Club with GMaq last month.

And yeah they do sound very similar come to think of it

Whoa, nice one man, I need to catch them soon before they blow up. Neither of their EPs is great, but Ivy and How to Build a Girl are some fantastic songs, right? I'm betting on them to drop something amazing soon.

Yeah man they're gaining a lot of traction, hadn't even heard of em in December when I saw them with Ceres (have you listened to them, highly highly recommended)

Agreed that EPS are good but not great.

tbh man I'm not too keen on How to Build a Girl, it's a decent tune but I prefer I Don't Want to Be Your Friend Anymore.

Fair enough man, I Don't Want to Be Your Friend Anymore is great. I love the lead singer, there's a tragic wit to her; band's so, so charming. And I saw this and listened to their debut, great album, thanks for the rec. I'm strapped for cash right now, but I really need to start going for more gigs.

agreed man, I think also the fact that they have wagner/maq type lyrics also is a huge drawcard and why they're growing so fast.

Definitely check out their latest, the closing track is perhaps the best thing they've done.

aha dude I feel ya, I legit cannot say no to shows, there's huge holes in my wallet from gigs and LPs. I was thinking of going to see Jarrow and Good Boy tonight at Gasometer but I probably shouldn't.

Will for sure check, mate. Have you seen Jarrow live?? Brother took me to Car Seat Headrest at the Gasometer. Jarrow opened for them and absolutely killed, liked it more than Car Seat, honestly.

Yeah saw him first time last weekend at this small festival, was really good. It's pretty weird because he's really close with a few mates of mine, I was at lunch with him a while back and now he's playing splendour and doing really well.

Good boy are pretty decent too, check our their track transparency.

Yeah, just listened to Transparency, pretty neat. Cool that you know Jarrow, are you going to Splendour? Julien Baker's there, so never more incentive to go, but don't think I will. Never been to a big festival.

Yeah decent tune, they have this track also called poverty line which I hated at first but has grown a tonne on me, it's a bit.. Repetitive! Yeah man, when I saw him announced at splendour I had to a double take, pretty happy for him.

Yeah man I am, my girlfriend loves julien too. If you get the chance man definitely do, 3rd year this year, it's a pretty amazing experience, I think the fact it's in Byron contributes to that quite a bit and the fact you can kinda make a road trip out of it.

Have a great time at Splendour, man. Did you catch these dudes' live set on Triple J tonight? Had a pretty long drive when their set started, was great.

Cheers Ben, it'll go down soon, but love this more than anything right now. Glad to see you enjoyed it too. :]

And it was a pretty good set, schoonda, from what I heard, but there were a lot of problems with the feed.
