Should, if you actually like the album the replay value is pretty good. Just saying the guy argued over 2 pages and no one sufficiently put him in his place ( which I feel like happens often in these threads ). In fact I feel like he disclaimed a bit of hate people generate twords this band.

For over 2 pages, he failed to differentiate musicianship and songwriting talent and assume that all talent intrinsically attracts a fanbase.

You described Periphery as 'good' and the music scene as a meritocracy. A meritocracy on that scale can't be subjective. The only objectively good part of Periphery is their musicianship. Differentiation is required because musical chops do not mean good songs.
