I’ve always wanted headphones like that. I also have no money lol. Will stick with my 7 year old Bose.

'Kennerton Rognir w/ bog oak wood'
oh my, yes those aren't cheap lol
I haven't taken the plunge (yet) but I could certainly be persuaded to spend a few hundred in the right financial circumstances... but that? Wow. I think my hesitation (even sometimes at lower pricing points, because I'm stingy) is how do you know they'll be right for you? It isn't a one size fits all sort of deal. I'm assuming at the higher end there are 'testing periods' or something idk.

definitely. we’ve got some boutique headphone stores here with a wide range of cans that let you try them w/ your own music. if i can’t try in person i only buy from places with a return policy. amazon’s return policy has made great for trying lol
in any case dropping a few grand on headphones is a result of severe, long term upgraditis. Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica etc make amazing headphones in the few hundred range that will suffice for the non-obsessive

yeah, there's somewhere near me where you can try them out, but I don't think they do anything quite in that range, haha
only ever 'gone as far as' Sennheiser, Bose, AKG etc. - and not necessarily the more expensive products in those brands, some aren't that dear
One day maybe

Yeah would 10000% need to try. That was my hesitancy even with the Sony’s lol so same I made sure I could return them. That’s cool though.
Maybe I should buy them and return them. Only thing is what if I like them and can’t bring myself to return them 😱

The perfect death really.
Song is really a hyper-industrial-hardcore masterpiece imo. Those vocal hooks are rage inducing

This for sure. It goes more apeshit and the space it has to breathe is a good welcome.

Heirloom is still one of the most absolutely balls to the wall opening tracks I've ever heard.
