Sucks BIG TIME that the international version of this album is the only one available for me on Spotify. xBxMxCx is crazy good. Would love to replace Oh Majinai with that one. The only song off of this I dislike 100%. Joakim Broden is horrible.

BxMxCx is better than Oh Majinai yes, Majinai is agonizingly annoying/irritating

It's been pretty much the most popular song from this so it's about time
I'll make a vocal cover of it... eventually

I love how they have such a strong Meshuggah influence especially on songs such as BxMxC and Starlight, those songs are played on a 9 string I believe... they are definitely a band that initially got big from their gimmick, but I think they are starting to seperate themselves from that, they are becoming a great band with a gimmick rather than a gimmick band with some good songs to me

They've improved the instrumentation of the songs. It feels like they've stopped trying to be taken seriously as a Metal act and are now embracing the cheesy side of Melodic Metalcore for all it's worth. It works.
The new industrial elements really help their product.
Passcode is still better though.

"NOTE: On a personal note, it sucks that “BxMxC” is only on the Japanese version of Metal Galaxy because it is easily my favorite song on the album, and one any Babymetal fan should hear. "
This is the reason why I will not buy it. When they decide to give their fans abroad an incomplete version, they can happily shove it up their asses.

same thing with From Dusk Till Dawn on Metal Resistance, it's my favorite on that album

Still love this album to death, even if Oh Majinai is a bit of a stumble. Da Da Dance and Shanti Shanti Shanti are some of my absolute favorite songs to come out of this band (and honestly some of my favorite J-Rock songs in general). Babymetal may not be the most technically proficient metal band out there, but they sure as hell are the most fun, IMO

technical proficiency will always pale in comparison to the importance of composition (?

Really need to give this a relisten one of these days, it’s been too long, and also they’re going on hiatus soon.
