After doing a quick jog around the usual services, it seems like they threw this version on the physical release and called it. Can't find it on Spotify, YT, Apple, Soundcloud, Bandcamp - nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hung it up after this record, but they haven't really given any indication that that's the case yet. I think the time between records will likely be every four-five years instead of every other like it used to, but it seems like they want to keep going as long as they feel inspired. They certainly have nothing left to prove, but I'd personally love to see them keep going as they bring a level of gravitas and maturity that most in the genre simply aren't capable of. They do the whole "Mature Pop-Punk" thing so much better than their peers (other than Sister Cities lol)

My AOTY, so happy to see them back firing after a couple of middling records (by Wonder Years standards)

Got the chance to catch these guys playing most of these songs live last night. Cardinals II, Songs About Death and Laura & the Beehive added some excellent variety to their performance:
Hearing II directly after I really pushed the contrast in tone. Songs About Death is the heaviest I have ever seen them get. Laura hits different when Dan opens the songs saying "If you have the privledge to, please give your grandma a call this week.. this songs about mine".
You’re the Reason I Don’t Want the World to End was just as cathartic of a closing song to the show I imagined it would be. All of the new songs where he mentions his kids and being a father are pretty touching.

It really is so great. It’s interesting to hear a greatest generation song recorded in their more modern style. I can’t get enough of it

yeah the new track is ridiculously good.
Soupy is on point too but instrumentally it feels like one of the most impressive things they've done. THOSE DRUMS

I knew that box set would go out quick, so I copped it as soon as I heard about it.
Goddamnitall sounds so out of place in their discog. In a really good way though!
