I can buy this as her most consistent but I don't think a string of 4/5 tracks is quite a 4.5 record. I need my highs with Carly so I slightly prefer Side A. Here's my cross-ranking of this era:

I can appreciate that, and I agree this doesn't have quite as high of highs. But for me Side A is so hit-or-miss. Real Love, Want You In My Room, and No Drug Like Me are probably my 4.5's, Happy Not Knowing is my 4, but then the rest of Side A is around a 3.5/5 or lower (for me). Side B is as you said straight 4's (although I'd argue a handful of 4.5's exist) and to me that makes for a better album. Obviously our views on Side A differ though.

I don't have the words to explain it but that song makes me feel vaguely ill. everything about it sounds like Carly doing a cut-rate impersonation of another artist who I'd never listen to unless The Avalanches used them in a sample
...also be real compared to When I Needed You, Love Again and Real Love it pales as a closer
