Fix that, Ryus. Wavering Radiant especially is my favourite of all theirs some days. They get heaps psychedelic, pull out the Hammond organ and pretty much abandon “quiet section-loud section” for a more shaded, dynamic songwriting style. It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely their most organic sounding record.

well yeah, after multiple studio guest appearances, similarities in an otherwise highly distinctive approach to bass, and obvious Danny Carey influence on ITAOT, and the pretty naked Tool aping that goes down from two minutes into Not in Rivers to around the halfway mark, who would ever think there was a basis for that?

Tool might be obnoxious garbage, but cmon there's an obvious overlap
