Yeah Rainmen is one of my fav songs on this. Hole in the Sky and Resonance are up there too. Gonna have to jam this album and Fallout today.

The metal half of the album — perfect. The post-rock one — not so much.

The electronic parts of the album add a lot to the atmosphere of the album, I love to let my imagination run wild with songs like Solaris, Bermuda Riviera and Saturn & I.
But I love the heavier parts too. Everything is well made.

It is said the second album will be almost purely electronic/post-rock so brace yourselves...

Well as I get it that was his influence that helped create the metal half of this record. he needs to get his shit together though and finally record the next Enshine which he still refuses to do goddammit.

Sounds nice that the new album will be almost purely electronic / post-rock as I loved it on Skylight.
In electronic music everything is possible there are many nice genres (experimental and / or atmospheric) as long as it's not nowadays pop music.

I forgot how good this album was. Goddamn.

I hope they don't go all electronic/post-rock. One of the big draws of this album was the contrasts. If they do a second album, I'm sure it will be good, but not as diverse and unique.

So I guess after all Jari might very well release something before Ehsan does.

Yooo I love this album. Cool that they're getting back together. Bumping primarily so that I can dig up their uber-pretentious bio from a while back and post later

Haven't found it yet, but this post from 2013 seems prescient:
"Atomic friends, We have been forced to put AtomA on ice for a while. As nationalism, racism and neoliberalism is on the rise in Europe we fear the well being of our families these coming decades, since we are immigrants in Sweden. Therefore we've been forced to put aside music to focus fully on studies and high education in order to be able to take care of our own when and if the shit goes down in these western countries. It pains us that we've had to take a break in the middle of writing the next album, but right now we must work and study hard to protect our families and loved ones from a very uncertain future. We don't know when we'll be back, but you'll find out here on our facebook page. We thank you deeply for the support you've been showing AtomA so far and we hope to be back soon to continue developing the vision we had, to create challenging albums that is no slave to any genre, but free to explore and roam through the universe of sound without imaginary prisons. See you soon".
