People try and right the Pistols off as a created 'thing' but the anger that is palpable on Bollocks can't be manufactured. That's why 40yrs on its still hard to beat.

Exactly dude the term 'punk' sprung from the New York scene which was idolised by Mclaren but hated by Rotten. What was his term for the Ramones? "Spoilt kids with guitars" or something like that. The pistols are a manifestation of the hate directed towards the shitsem which they unfortunately became a part of in the end.
