I really love parts of this album. But it always puts me in a weird headspace. Real melancholic stuff.

For some reason I can't explain I gave this a spin today and it started to click with me. There is something about the flow and overall vibe here, I think I can finally feel it. Upping my score to a 4 for now

try listening to it on the way home from a party late at night

that's when it always clicks

to me it's like a collage of moments throughout the party, random quotes people said, melodies your mind can subconsciously remember, all blending into a mashup

people tried to force the stylistic not-really-genre tag “night bus,” coined by CFCF’s playlists, in like 2008-10.

Walking back home alone from party/rave/club at 5am it's been raining but it stopped a while ago and the sun is about to come out...

album is entirely carried by atmosphere which to me is like watered down depression. i dont think it speaks to say socially isolated people with bad upbringing and appreciable mental health issues. its like music for spoiled white people who want to know what it feels like because they didnt have fun at a party or got a bad grade in school. not trying to trivialize anyones mental health or their connection with this as a result of it, just my feeling on the album that really has little basis other than that

There are lots of people who aren’t spoiled white people who like this album, people I could talk to about it right now, and it doesn’t have lyrics about spoiled white people stuff because it doesn’t have lyrics at all. Seems hard to make the case if neither of those boxes are checked

You surely don’t like this album, don’t like stuff about it, but you’re thinking about it the wrong way.
