I still really enjoy this, these songs hit pretty hard live too, they were the first show I saw post-covid and the energy was awesome, singer was crowd surfing, everyone was having a blast.

Alcest dropped Kodama after Shelter and I feel like the new one is gonna be a return to form for these guys too.
Not to say this album is bad by any means, it's a pretty great shoegaze alb with some brilliant moments but ya we need more blast beatz

he'd been saying that if we liked bermuda we'd like the next album so im optimistic for sure. really wish they'd just nail down like the alt rockin or w/e vibes from Canary Yellow/Honeycomb and do that tbh, but a more focused bermuda-y sound would also be very nice. do that one properly this time and actually finish it without rushing.

i don't hate it quite AS much anymore but still what the fuck man. And you can't really even cut the song either or else you've just got three blackgaze tracks that all sound the same, you need that middle transition piece.
