i saw them open for abr and the set was like 75% songs off of this and it was the most boring live show i have ever seen in straight up my entire life lol. it like legitimately bummed me out since i love this band up until like 2016, but honest to god these songs are even worse live

yeah def a love it or hate it thing since they played pretty close to the album. i mean if you like the album this stuff would probably sound good live. it just most definitely is not being performed in a way where someone who didnt like it going in would be converted bc it more or less reinforced for me why i hate this lmao



this is like so bland that it gets offensive for me lol. the hooks on this are so exactly textbook everything i dont like about current core hooks distilled into the same three notes repeated over and over and over again and it at that point pushes past boring into being bad for me. kindergarden songwriting on this thing

i'm not hearing anything there that offensive. not reinventing the wheel, sure, but there's way worse you could be listening to. and even if i wasn't as into the album at first, Twenty-Five FLOORED me so much that I ended up loving the rest anyway.
