Coma drags a little bit for a 10+ min song

Wow, only a 3.7? This is their best album imo.

I think 1 is their best. This has a lot of filler

Ha, that’s funny because that’s the problem I have with I. But I still have it at a 3.5. Not a huge GNR fan tbh.

This has Estranged (their best song), Civil War and You Could Be Mine, so that gives it a serious edge.
|

Definitely the best of the two.

Civil War is the bands greatest along with one in a million.

Both this album and the prequel have so many hidden gems. Sometimes overexposure isn't exactly the best thing that can happen to your music. People will always remember them for songs such as "sweet child", "november rain", "welcome to the jungle". But i can think of a dozen more interesting songs than their greatest hits.

Also, this is inferior to UYI I

I’ve never truly dug ‘em but they definitely have their moments.
Civil War makes me want to change my name by deed poll to Corey, buy a massive pick up truck, stick a fuck off great stars ‘n stripes on the back and motor around town.

"I’ve never truly dug ‘em"
Like i said, over-exposure is oftentimes not the best thing that can happen to your band's image. People will start calling your music "crap" only because they hear your songs getting way too much radio air-play. How many other bands have suffered the same fate?

I also think that part of the criticism and disdain came from stupid nicknames the press gave them. Calling them bad boys, most dangerous band, etc. But i can't see why this must be their fault.

Locomotive has always been one of my favorites but UYI 1 is clearly superior to this one.

Axl singing "I don't need no civil war" sounds so similar to him singing "knock knock knocking on heaven's door"
