Thanatos
Emerging from the Netherworlds

Release Date: 1990 | Tracklist

Review Summary: this album does four things and four things only: thrashing, slashing, pissing and felching *** hard m/ ***

the year was 1990 and thrash was about to be murdered by ***ty ass *** trends like groove and grunge and alt rock. but that wouldn’t stop badass bands like thanatos and sadus and exhorder from releasing some of the greatest nastiest thrashiest albums ever. and man this ***in rules i mean even the title lets you know this band wants to emerge out of your netherworlds with their big triumphant ***in cock. m/

album starts right off the bat with some slow evil riffs kinda like hell awaits but not as popular and then BOOM it punches you with chode kicking deathrash ***in goodness. the vocalist sounds pissed like someone shat in his soup, like real pissed like he wants to rip your balls off with his teeth. you can tell this guy hates everything and if i was him i ***in would too cuz of ***ty gay music killin thrash ugh. the riffs are true as all *** and the double bass will fist you. the actual bass is pretty audible which is badass too. you cant help but headbang hard and true unless youre gay and listen to brand new.

this album is basically my beautiful dark twisted THRASHtasy and it kicks ass harder than anything you’ve ever heard. if you like storms of trems, fists, growls and chodes, you will dig this hard. the guitars occasionally go a little slower only to start ripping your ass like a chainsaw again i mean thats ***in thrash right there m/ there’s even some breakdowns but its hard thrashin true breakdowns like raining blood not this *** ass core *** ugh. this album will make you mosh and felch like never before im so angry when i listen to this i smashed my ***in fist in the ***in wall and broke my bones now that’s metal m/

in conclusion this thrashes hard. if you’re the manliest man and the trvest of the trve you should check this album. i recommend this to people who rape rhinos, people who shave their balls with angle grinders, people who rape angle grinders, people who shave their balls with rhinos, but most of all people who think thrice is just a fancy word for three times. ugh. if you like *** ass indie folk or post gaycore then dont even bother because this will brutalize you. this goes so hard even snox might dig it bur prob not cuz it has more than two reviews on metalarchives and hes a hipster chodesniffer. this record slashes and pisses so hard that it makes rust in peace sound like boy george by comparison. it will smoke your ass like a fat blunt and then hate*** you back into the stone age. anyway cap 5’d this so if you havent heard it you’re gay and i hate you. m/ ugh ***

I've always thought writing a KILL-style review would be a ton of fun and hey turns out it totally is.

Seriously though this album rules and if you like old thrash and death you would probably enjoy this a lot.

A well deserved review for one of the best euro-death metal bands out there. This and Realm of Ecstasy are top notch.

Death/thrash from the Netherlands and it's released in 1990! That's enough evidence to suggest it's gonna be great.
