I thought These Boots Were Made For Walking was by Nancy Sinatra? Or was that a cover too?
Another good review, by the way.

I think Lee Hazelwood wrote the songs and had Nancay Sinatra sing it. Great review :thumb:

I've neen looking for this album for a while now, and I can't find it anywhere :upset: is it still in stores or what?

Hey!!
I've got the album and couldn't agree more on your review, although my personal fave is the title track.
can anyone explain to me why «Them Boots» isn't in my version of the album?

What's wrong with Countdown? Yes it is TOTALLY different than Killing, but it is a great album as well.

You probably have the original version, I dont think it has that song on it.

good review, although having the remastered version also it is kinda obvious that you have kinda just rephrased what dave writes about each song in the inside cover. a godd reviw of a really underated album tho :chug:

Finally someone noticed.

Defiantly a classic that will keep you rattling that d@mn head
Dave Mustaine auditioned several singers before deciding to sing himself, his voice isn’t the most pleasant to a lot of people, but in my opinion it fits really well towards Megadeth’s style.
I would also recommend:
Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying,
So Far, So Good, So What?
Rust In Peace.
Dave Mustaine wrote Mechanix in his first band ' Panic '...
anyways, I think this is one of the best review's I seen :thumb:

Great info about the songs, not my favorite album but it is very good. You should listen to the DEMO-version of MECHANIX!! It sounds mor powerful than the original song.

I'm going to buy this album. I've already got Rust In Peace and Peace Sells and from what I've heard of this one it's good too. I don't find Dave's voice annoying either, I actually like it because he doesn't sound like anyone else. I also didn't like Countdown.

hey Dethtrasher, where did u get the demo version from? i NEED to hear that!

I downloaded it from DC++, the song is pure awesome.
Great bass, it is fast and the guitar intro really sounds like an engine starting up. So plain cool song.

Not cool, My gay-a$$ parents won't let me buy the album because now they slapped a f*****g Parental Advisory sticker on it. So I just my friend to buy it and he lent it to me.
