I didn't know that any Slayer records except for Reign In Blood were ever rated highly in the first place.

I have this cd
i havent listened to it though
good review :thumb:

The year is 1994 and the metal scene is not in vogue at the time.
It wasn't out of style either.
Grundge was taking all the place.
Grunge was dying.
The review is pretty basic: skimpy on detail, there's no effort to correct spelling and it's not particularly helpful. This Message Edited On 01.20.06

highly underrated cd in my opinion. the only downside to this album is the
sound quality. the guitars seriously sound really really wirey if you know what
i mean. but its still a very good cd. circle of beliefs is my fav. song on here. This Message Edited On 02.27.06

I agree with South of Heaven11 on this one. The album got slated by most fans when it was released - let's face it, it can't compare with Seasons in the Abyss - but I like it. I saw them on this tour and Bostaph was great.

"The Drums on this cd are awesome"
Yeah...my drum teacher actually recommended this CD to me :D That's how I ended up getting this

Drum teachers shouldn't be listening to Slayer.

Why shouldn't drum teachers be listening to slayer? My drum teacher's in two bands, one is a heavy metal band, and one is a jazz band, he also takes on any jobs. So, he's well-rounded, like all drummers should be.

Oh and I forgot to mention, Slayer and Anthrax are two classic bands to drum to. Especially for double bass.

hi my first post (finally got round to regestering)
I love this cd and bought it when it was released.. yep metal was definitely on the way down and out of "fashion" alternative/indie pop was all the rage... alternative/indie affected metal so much bands like metallica tried to change their sound to tap into it. (load/reload.)

I need to get this cd.
