Tsunami Bomb is an incredible, fast-paced punk band straight out of California. They formed in 1998, but really became known in 1999. There have been break-ups and a many other people in the band. Tsunami Bomb made a final break-up in October of 2005. If they were still a band, Tsunami Bomb would be Agent M, Matt McKenzie, Jay Northington, and Gabe Lindeman. At the time of the creation of this cd, Tsunami Bomb was Agent M, Dominic Davi, Mike Griffen, and Gabe Lindeman. Now, onto the review!

Vocals/Lyrics

Let’s start with the first song on the cd, Take the Reins. This song says, “Okay, you’re out of the house, independent, and you’ve got nothing to lose. WRONG." This song proves that you do need to “Take the Reins" to help control what the turnout of your life is going to be.

Top 40 Hit is also another good song, lyrically. This one mainly talks about how the radio really sucks and how its brainwashing people. Kinda like radio Nazis. Ew. I would actually agree with this for today, maybe not as much as 2002…but that’s besides the point. But, uh, yeah. Shall I do a quote? ALRIGHT.

Count Me Out is a song that focuses on the qualities of those “in people" and *** like that. And Agent M obviously doesn’t want to be those kind of people, which concludes her to say, “COUNT ME OUT!" These are mainly the good songs lyrically on the album. Agent M has a beautiful voice, and that shows on pretty much every song on the album, especially Roundabout and 20 Going On… Now…onto the next part of the review!

Instrumentals/Instruments and all that little diddly stuff

Dominic Davi, as bassist in the band does a well enough job on the cd. But it’s a bunch of simple little stuff. Simple, simple, simple and noooothing creative. If it is creative, there are usually only a few little parts of it that is. But, it still sounds great. It’s not like it doesn’t sound like its there. Mike Griffen, as the guitarist, does a fantastic job! None of the songs sound boring when it comes to guitar. Griffen is creative in his guitar playing, which keeps me interested. Comparing him to TB’s current guitar player, Griffen beats Northington by a mile. Gabe Lindeman, as the drummer also does a great job. He, also, is creative with his drumming and never bores me. He may sound a little better on “The Definitive Act," but I still think that it is great. There aren’t really any standout points on the cd when it comes to bass, except for Russian Roulette which pretty much has its solo on the verses. For guitar, I like Say It If You Mean It, Top 40 Hit, and a few others. Drums, is really every song. None of these songs could really do without Lindeman.

IN CONCLUSION:
I believe that this is a kick-*** cd, created by a kick-*** band. Hooray for Tsunami Bomb.
