Review Summary: A true story.

We last left our heroes in the fields of battle, fighting hoards of reviewers. With a generic sword equipped they quickly sliced and diced, with poor effects. Their battle cry had gusto, they were ready for combat, but against the swarm of superior swordsmen their rally was weak. After their failed battle, for many moons they went in hiding to hone their craft, and in 2022 they returned to take back their territory. The enemy - unaware of their presence - shivered at the return of the much stronger band of warriors. The new conquest was named Destroy Rebuild, a fitting title for the warriors’ new dawn - a new chance to prove themselves.

During the night one day, the enemy attacked the fortress of our heroes. Little did the enemy anticipate such a polished group assault. Soon the enemy was ferociously assaulted with glimmering, shiny swords that made a beautiful shiiiiing! sound. The frontman sounded just as good, charging with purpose, his battlecry was poised and fresh. From the sword and vocal attack there was beautiful harmony, and memorable moments that would not go unforgotten. You see, in a surprise twist the band of brothers learned the art of music and brought lovely singing into battle on horseback.

Docile and lulled by the army’s lovely melodies and catchy songs - generic though they were - the evil clan known as The Critics shrieked in horror. No longer could The Critics use their vile mind control to make others hate the true owners of the kingdom - our intrepid band of heroes! It truly was a wonderful moment for the kingdom. Riding on horse into the sunset, the heroes wondered what enemies and victory awaited their brazen swords. They lived happily ever after. The end.

glad to see a review for it now tho. album is pretty fun. its fuckin insane how much craig has improved as a vocalist throughout time when you look back at that pitchy ass (but still bangin and better than this songwriting wise) chiodos debut because he sounds phenomenal here

He really does! I still prefer Chiodos’ first two, but what I’ve heard from this was a pleasant surprise for sure! Also, fun review! Good shit!

if cinsun put out a full length they coulda been my favorite project of his. that was the first project where he really had pitch control down and he sounds amazing over that breezy light pop punky style, plus his melodies were still super sharp then. like 5 of the 8 songs they made are among my favorites hes ever written

We really should’ve gotten more from that project. Gonna have to take another listen and see how it’s held up for me. “You Told Me You Loved Me” might be my favorite song of Craig’s. That and “Intensity…”

Enjoyable but forgettable listen. Craig sounds really good here, better than ever imo. Unfortunately there's just nothing that stands out on the instrumental side, the whole thing is driven by the vocals.

Are they going the fear before route and shortening their name?

Everything is pretty by the numbers, but Gold is the stand out track here for sure. The chorus is pretty infectious and Craig sounds so, so good on this record.

Aside from the changing line ups, I love the personnel that was chosen for both records.

for sure one of my fav albums of 2022, in no small part thanks to the drumming

huge bummer that Craig had to make it about himself again and everyone has exited the band already it seems. Gonna be a surprise who'll play with him on the tour with Falling in Reverse (of course Craig doesn't have a problem with touring with that homophobic douchebag RR...)

RR? You mean Ronnie Radke? The guy who hasn’t been in Escape the Fate since like 2008?
