you also get props for reviewing this awesome album, but your review is extremely hard to follow. Next time try separating topics into paragraphs and talk about how said album compares to last album possibly.

Spaced it out so it'd look a little better. Sorry it was a written after a few bong rips. I'm not sure what comparisons have you shaking your head?

Aymor's guitars jangle and rock part Replacements part Cheap Trick. The songs may be heavy on chords and light on riffs but make no mistake this man is the new Joe Perry. here for starters...maybe if l take a toke it'll click

There's a chance it will. His lead guitar playing, and his tone reminds me of Joe Perry. And the songs use a lot of open chords with extra strings ringing (part Replacements), but are also punchy and tight (part Cheap Trick). I hope that clears it up some, but I really think the bong hit would put things in perspective for you.

Any review that mentions Head Trip In Every Key, even in passing, is alright by me. Pre-ordered this awhile back...the wait is killing me. Oh and the comparisons are absolutely spot-on, so not sure what anyone's complaining about there.

Btw 'All My Clean Friends' is the stand-out song for me. Oh yes; anticipating endless spins of that one in my vehicle in the near future.

Spoon, the vinyl edition of MRT actually comes with the cd version as a free pack-in, at least for now. Great deal.

A small gripe with the review: I don't quite see this as "the new soundtrack to the stoner after party" (and thereby not as a "replacement" for Head Trip in that sense, but as more of a spiritual companion piece to that record). I guess I see it more as the soundtrack to that killer saturday/sunday morning hangover. All My Clean Friends is still my fav but One & Four and Lab Technicians are gaining ground.

I'll agree that it's a morning hangover record as well, but I'm sticking strongly behind it being the soundtrack for the stoner after party. It's upbeat rock songs with just the right amount of mellowness, it keeps people head bobbing but you can chill and make out to it too. And that is why it is perfect for the stoner after party. The laid back vocal croon and plenty of drug references are just the icing on the cake.
