4.0 excellent | inkwisitive | November 16th 21 | Most songs are good-to-great, with the exception of Rise Up (too childish/christian summer
camp) and What You Can't Look Up (admirable experiment but a swing-and-a-miss IMO). A couple
are among my favourite of the year.
Maybe Walk The Moon's best album since their debut? Less scattershot than their last record,
and not quite as catchy as Talking Is Hard but a bit deeper. Feels like a good
summary of their career to date with added 90s pop and alt influences to go with the usual
Talking Heads/Killers/Peter Gabriel schtick.
