I always thought Ortiz has his moments, and even Joe Budden occasionally, but Joe pisses me off infinitely more than Ortiz because of his consistently stupid beefing.

i'm not a big def jux fan, but it's for sure way more innovative than NYC rap. it's just that i'm not as much of a fan of the style they're innovating i guess.

it's not bad, but it's nothing amazing. it's a re-exploration of stuff done 15 years ago IMO.

ya Crooked I is talented, but I didn't find him to be a really significant force on this record.

that said, he really needs to drop a solo joint already.
