Album is pretty great I think. Great slow burners all around.

i've listened to Bitter River a little, and saw these guys live with GCS. i thought they were cool then, even though i wasn't a huge fan of Bitter River.
i think i'll probably get this soon.

"tumor" is fantastic. this is one of those albums you can just put on repeat and listen to for hours on end. it has a very distinct atmosphere to it.

I thought this was pretty boring the first time I heard it and it's since grown on me quite a bit.

It's a 3.5 at the moment after one listen through. I'm guessing it'll go up after another few, it's really nice.

the mentions in the staff lists made me interested, listening to it for the second time right now, and it's a great album indeed. Not easy to believe, these are the same guys who produced something like Document #8
need to get their other album too.

I seriously love this, although it can become ardous listening to it the whole way through. "Asphalt", "Dead Don't Pass", "Mount Hope" and "Butch's Dream" are all incredible.

it doesn't get arduous imo - i think it's a great listen

I dunno, all of it is pretty similar. The good thing about Bitter River was the mix of hardcore and folk. I struggle getting through any album though, so it's probably just me.
|
| |
it's pretty varied for what's basically a folk album

Still in love with this.
