4.5 superb | PootyT | September 4th 17 | Amazing covers of songs that oddly fit Les and Sean's style/personality. Boris the Spider
is extremely fun, Court of the Crimson King is one of Les's favorite songs, Satori means
a lot to Sean, and Astronomy Domine is what the Claypool Lennon Delirium are going for in
terms of sound. Les is known for his spot-on covers and this EP is no exception.

3.3 great | Voivod STAFF | July 2nd 17 | How is one supposed to make a judgement of an EP of covers to landmark '70s/progressive rock songs? Does the new adaptation reenacts the feel of the original? Does it bring something new to the table? Well, Claypool and Lennon partially succeed on the first requirement, whereas they remain (expectedly?) neutral on the other. "Astronomy Domine" is eloquently covered (although it pales in comparison to Voivod's take), the same goes for the take on "The Court Of The Crimson King". The above said, yours truly is not aware of the other two songs (shame on me, I guess!) but, in the light of the second requisite posited in this short blurb, the takes in this EP weren't overwhelming at all.
