If it weren't for the acoustic rendition of "We're Not Gonna Take It" half way through the album, We Are the ones could be seen with more empathy; here's the thing though, with the exception of the self-titled cut, and "Head Like a Hole", an instant hit for the dance floors worldwide (the assessment does not come in spite), the mentioned classic is sadly the highlight in terms of vocal performance, with closer "So What" merely being a secondary affair. What's more troubling, Twisted Sister's calling card of a song, is situated amidst Snider's half-hearted struggle to sound relevant in modern times.
