3.4 great | Voivod STAFF | January 25th 16 | Judging from the album cover alone, one may think that Kamchatka have unfittingly become hillbillies; however, given the not-so-obvious similarities of the Vikings with the first people that set foot on North America, the concept is not so weird. Moreover, the southern rock elements have been carefully slipstreamed in the Swedes' retro hard rock, even though one might have a hard time pinpointing stand-out tracks from the album. 3.2 good | Raul Stanciu STAFF | July 28th 15 | There's a lot of skill here and much potential to be used, however, the album feels a bit rushed (it was released barely a year after The Search Goes On). Think of it as a mix between ZZ Top and Clutch, sometimes slow and bluesy, sometimes pile driving heavy. I understand they wanted to keep the momentum going, yet Kamchatka should've waited another year and refine or jam more their ideas.
