The third album from Spain's Helevorn contains some dependable (if anything else) gothic/doom/death metal, in the vein of bands such as Saturnus, Draconian and Slumber. Songs have easily engulfed the essential guidelines of the aforementioned genres, hence they are fairly satisfactory, however the elements that would make the album really memorable are rather absent. It's a good album, but it lies a few steps below the majority of similar and great albums out there.
