Bruised Orange is a fantastic album with not a single skippable track. Prine is back in full force with an album brimming with hilarious lines and songs, satirical commentary, and absolutely brutal bars that cut to the bone. The energy is back where it should be with a focus on folk guitars and honest lyrics. This feels much closer to his debut than the previous few albums. It is still lighter in topic, however. It's hard to pick standout tracks as so many make me laugh just thinking about them. So I will just say that If You Don't Want My Love, Bruised Orange, and Sabu Visits the Twin Cities Alone are more serious music while the rest of the songs are more humorous or downright comedic.rFish And Whistle 2.
