1The clash-the clash it has several of there great songs like janie jones and complete control

2 sex pistols-never mind the bulloks (sp)
3the ramones- the ramones come on it had blitzkrig bop 53&3 and beat on the brat

It's true, there are retards with better singing ability than Darby Crash. But for some reason, I like the Germs more than a lot of other bands that probably have a lot more talent.

its sooo good to see propagandhi in there, especially TETA in 5th. that album is outstanding- i couldnt live without that anymore! I didnt notice any pennywise in there, which is a pity. Though i know all their songs sound the same, i cant help but love the speed! :) Also its great to see the dk's won- that album is fantastic!

im glad to see that DK won, especially that CD, its one of my favorites. I am upset about all the black flag though... and that Social D's white light CD beat their mommys little monster, other than that i like this

This is a great list.....you covered every punk band from the beigging of punk like Iggy and the Ramones...the middle like descendents...to even new stuff like rise against and anti flag. Its covered all the greats. Although i dont agree with some of the orders....Dead Kennedys definatly shouldnt be at #1...but thats just my opinion...all in all its a great list.....the best ive seen.

Cuz in my opinion there a decent band but are overated....they belong in the top 20 but not #1. again thats just my opinion. Iggy or the Ramones should be at #1.

I would agree if I didn't think that the ramones suck.

The Ramones live stuff is a lot better than the studio stuff.

Yeah, I know. Matt told me that too. I've heard them live but I just can't listen to them for more than 10 or 15 minutes. They bore me a lot. Don't get me wrong, they have some great songs but I'll never be able to listen to half of an album from the Ramones in a row.

i agree...i just feal influence wise...without them....alot of bands might not have got to where they are.....iggy deserves to be #1 more

I think DK deserves to be number 1. I haven't met many people who listen to punk who dont listen to and like them. A lot of people dislike the Ramones and Iggy.

It was best albums, not influential. If you went influential the top 5 would be something like, judging by the posters in this forum.
The Clash
Sex Pistols
The Ramones
Iggy Pop
Velvet Underground or MC5 etc.

The top three need to be The Specials, Against Me!, and C'ock Sparrer, becuase they are the best bands ever. And maby Crass, but that would be based on their message as opposed to their music.
