Top 10 albums of the last 10 years?
OK, so this is a little spin on your "What's you top 10 albums?" thread. In this one, you have to pick an album you liked for each year, counting down from 2005 to 1996. So, as an example, you might do:
2005: Coheed And Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star VI 2004: Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be 2003: Brand New - Deja Entendu 2002: Goldfinger - Open Your Eyes 2001: Blink-182 - Take Off Your Pants And Jacket 2000: Something Corporate - Ready...Break 1999: The Get Up Kids - Something To Write Home About 1998: Saves The Day - I'm Sorry I'm Leaving] 1997: NOFX - So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes 1996: Descendents - Everything Sucks! Undoubtedly, it will get a lot harder the further down the list you go, but try and complete as much of it as you can. By the way, that wasn't my list, I'm still comprising mine. |
2005: Left Alone - Lonely Starts & Broken Hearts

I haven't been listening to music that long either, but there are definately albums I've listened to that came out before I began listening. |
Where did you find the dates for these?
|
I'm using Barnes and Noble for release dates.
|
Where did you find the dates for these?
Well I just know that they came out in that year. |
Oh.
This is too hard. I'll do it tomorrow. |
Oh.

I just tried http://www.plyrics.com and it seems to work well. Type in the date and it'll come up with albums. The only problem is that you have to scroll through a bunch of pages.
|
On MMMDI, you can search bands and just click on their discography. That will have release dates for all their albums
|
I'll do it, but give me time.
He's a tool fanboy, what do you want? :p
I must admit that I've never heard any Agalloch. :(
Even so...Tool fanboys aren't dumb enough to mistake a "good" album for a whole year...are they? :-\ You should, you're missing out. Great Folk Metal. |
You never know. :)
How are the vocals? |
I'd say very similar to Black Metal style with low growls but also actual singing. I like them. Very well blended with the music itself.
|
I'll see what I can do.
