Top 10 albums of the last 10 years?

OK, so this is a little spin on your "What's you top 10 albums?" thread. In this one, you have to pick an album you liked for each year, counting down from 2005 to 1996. So, as an example, you might do:

2005: Coheed And Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star VI
2004: Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be
2003: Brand New - Deja Entendu
2002: Goldfinger - Open Your Eyes
2001: Blink-182 - Take Off Your Pants And Jacket
2000: Something Corporate - Ready...Break
1999: The Get Up Kids - Something To Write Home About
1998: Saves The Day - I'm Sorry I'm Leaving]
1997: NOFX - So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes
1996: Descendents - Everything Sucks!

Undoubtedly, it will get a lot harder the further down the list you go, but try and complete as much of it as you can.

By the way, that wasn't my list, I'm still comprising mine.

I haven't been listening to music that long either, but there are definately albums I've listened to that came out before I began listening.

I just tried http://www.plyrics.com and it seems to work well. Type in the date and it'll come up with albums. The only problem is that you have to scroll through a bunch of pages.

On MMMDI, you can search bands and just click on their discography. That will have release dates for all their albums

I couldn't do justice to a list for albums in the last 10 years as I only like a select few albums released in that time period so im going to do 1975 - 1985 (Sorry if this isn't allowed).

1985: Husker Du - New Day Rising / Rites if Spring - End on End
1984: Minutemen - Double Nickels On The Dime
1983: Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones
1982: Mission of Burma - Vs
1981: Black Flag - Damaged
1980: Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
1979: The Pop Group - Y / The Fall - Live At The Witch Trials / Gang of Four - Entertainment
1978: The Jam - All Mod Cons
1977: Wire - Pink Flag
1976: Frank Zappa - Zoot Allures (Not my favourite but I needed some Zappa) / Parliament - Mothership Connection
1975: Brian Eno - Another Green World / Patti Smith - Horses (I added an extra year for these)
