I dunno, I kinda like the style of the cover on The Decline by NOFX. Its kinda crappy, but looks cool and sends a good message IMHO.

id say tool in general has some of the best covers. lateralus has no writing and is a tranperancy of the human body and aenema has 3 different covers that are like littlr holograms (flames, yogi rocking back and forth, an iris swirling around it's eye). other than that, id say the white album by the beatles. simpler than the black album by metallica (and doesnt have that stupid snake)

motely crues "girls, girls, girls" front cover ( motley crue on motor bikes, c'mon, everyone knows the girls, girls, girls logo) or their 1st album "too fast for love" with vinces crotch and hand!
