Actually, I don't think that has anything to do with hardcore. I think it's ska and punk or something, but that's not really my area of expertise so forgive my ignorance. I assume you're referring to Folly, though?

iHATEgc **** dude i think no one could have explained it better, hardcore is what comes from punk but when it comes down to bands like himsa,atreyu,as i lay dying etc thats metalcore or they can also call it hardcore metal. what i hate its when slipknot,mudvayne, or other nu-metal bands are refer to people as "hardcore bands".

atreyu doesn't deserve to be metalcore, they are pop-metalcore, or nu-metalcore :amaze:

Hey IhateGC since i can't find it, maybe you could tell me what happened to my posts? I know i posted and my guess is I sounded like a total idiot so you just took them off or something. Look if you could just answer my question then i'd be happy. The band called Amen, would they be considered Punk or Hardcore? They have a good deal of both influences in them. I'd just like a response please.
